Built on What Dad Taught Us

This business didn't start with a business plan — it started with my dad. Home improvement came naturally, and I carried those skills my whole life — until I decided to build something of my own.

It clicked when my dad needed an extra set of hands on a job. I volunteered, and by the time we were done, I fell in love with the work all over again. My dad — a fully licensed, still-active contractor — pushed me to make it official and showed me how to do it right.

My step mom brought a different kind of wisdom — her family owned and operated a property management company before retiring. Her no-nonsense advice helped us find our niche as a trusted trade vendor for property managers, realtors, and HOAs. Between my dad's contractor knowledge and her property management background, the foundation was already there.

After countless hours studying and filing, I earned my Arizona Contractors License and formed Like Dad Taught Me LLC — fully licensed, bonded, and insured.

My wife and I built this for our two daughters. Every job gets the same care I'd give my own home — because that's what dad taught me.

  • Not using link shorteners or non-branded domains in messages
  • Limiting message volume to comply with carrier throughput requirements
